Over 100 years and through four generations of family values, George’s Inc. has grown to feed a world of possibilities for our people and communities—and consistently integrated, innovated, and acquired new capabilities to meet evolving customer and consumer needs in chicken. Our story began in the late 1920s, in Brush Creek, Arkansas, when C.L. George established a general store to serve his community while also raising broiler chickens and began hauling them to larger markets throughout the Midwest. As the business evolved, C.L. moved it to Springdale, Arkansas, where he formed Farmer’s Produce Company, along with his two sons, Luther and Gene. With time, experience, and further integration, the company was renamed for the family who founded it: George’s Inc.
