SUMMARY: The Talent Acquisition Manager will partner with business functions to drive strategic recruitment results. This position will perform hands-on, full life-cycle recruitment while focusing on building early career talent acquisition programs including processes, strategies, and technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead in improving processes, resulting in consistent and quality practices and services provided to all candidates and business functions.
- Responsible for setting clear goals and benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts to aid in identifying and sourcing qualified talent.
- Provide creativity in sourcing talent to include job boards, career fairs, social media, workforce centers, non-profits, schools, military contacts, and other organizations.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruitment.
- Develop a pool of qualified talent in advance of a need.
- Ensure internal management team’s understanding and compliance with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Manage recruiting expenses to ensure the department spends within the approved budget.
- Analyze the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Recruit for, develop and maintain a vibrant Intern program and subsequent pipeline for early career candidates.
- Contribute to managing requisitions for other roles as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field AND 3+ years of progressive recruiting experience OR 7+years of progressive recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement recruiting strategies and initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (recruiting on social/texting platforms)
- High energy and have strong relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite products and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Preferred
- University and early career recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requirements.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English or Marshallese/English)
