SUMMARY: The Floor Person is responsible for floor management, housekeeping, and compliance with regulatory requirements of the assigned department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Check overhead structures for condensation, mop as necessary.
• Fill tote rack in box room.
• Retrieve available totes from cooler and place into required locations on the production floor.
• Monitor product flow in packing bins to facilitate order fill and smooth product flow.
• Monitor operations to ensure that needed supplies are readily available.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
  • None
• Preferred
  • Previous poultry processing experience
