SUMMARY: The Customer Service Representative ll will be responsible for providing customer service and sales support for export customers. This position assists customers with orders, enters orders accurately and timely and assists with billing items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support sales in communication to customers daily.
- Key orders into order entry system, collaborate with plants to provide appropriate export documentation, and adhere to export regulations.
- Utilize the Food Safety and Inspections Service (FSIS) website to follow appropriate country’s guidelines.
- Communicate with rail lines and cold storages to assist with appointment scheduling.
- Analyze daily inventory levels to determine product shortages, overages, and needs.
- Release export orders according to available production and appointments.
- Assist credit department with resolving credit and payment information issues.
- Assist Sales with invoice deduction resolution.
- Utilize daily reports to resolve backlog orders, verify billing accuracy, and communicate shortages.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High school diploma AND 3+ year of experience in ordering, sales invoice systems and export business
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Poultry experience preferred
