SUMMARY: The Customer Service Representative Lead is responsible for providing customer service and sales support for distributor, retail, and national account customers. This position will also assist with training and supporting the Customer Service Representative (CSR) team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Request and monitor customer orders and key orders into order entry system.
- Analyze daily inventory levels to determine product shortages, overages, and needs.
- Assist sales in price list development and pricing communication to customers.
- Assist sales in invoice deduction resolution.
- Collaborate with production regarding product availability and customer needs.
- Utilize daily reports to resolve backlog orders, verify billing accuracy, and communicate shortages.
- Provide training support to Customer Service Representative (CSR) team regarding job functions and processes.
- Work independently to research and identify areas of opportunity for the customers.
- Responsible for handling complex customer service items/questions.
- Assist leadership with scheduling/team duties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required
- High school diploma
- 3 years of experience in ordering or sales invoice systems used in a multi-channel distribution network with multiple customers
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Poultry or manufacturing experience
