SUMMARY: The Systems and Specifications Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the implementation integration and maintenance of the Product Lifecycle Management system within George’s, Inc. This position will assist with creating and/or maintaining product specifications for multiple food production facilities and assisting with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specific to existing and new Research & Development (R&D) computer-based programs and like technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Review of the systems and data to ensure accuracy of information.
· Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for existing and new computer-based programs and like technologies.
· Respond to all needs for systems and specification requests.
· Drive continuous improvements for system integrations and processes.
· Proof specifications for customers prior to internal pre-production meetings.
· Assist with creating a consistent and standardized format for product specifications.
· Follow the standardized format for current product specification data. Audit as necessary.
· Generate reports from Product Lifecycle Management tool to assist Research and Development and Sales.
· Other duties as assigned by manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Required
o Associate’s Degree in General Studies
o 2 years of experience working in a food manufacturing clerical position
o Outstanding written/verbal communication skills
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
· Preferred
- o Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
