As a CNC Operator, you won’t just run machines. You will help craft the precision components that make our aircraft among the most advanced in the world. Every cut, every detail, and every finished part you produce plays a role in the performance and safety of our aircraft. This is hands-on work where your technical skills, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail directly contribute to the future of aviation innovation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Calibrating and operating CNC machinery to manufacture precision parts to specification.
- Loading raw materials and monitoring production runs while ensuring safety.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to turn designs into finished parts.
- Inspecting and measuring parts throughout production to confirm accuracy and compliance.
- Machine checks and adjustments to optimize peak performance.
- Documenting production work.
- Upholding safety standards while working in a hands-on, fast-paced shop environment.
- Collaborating with engineers to solve problems and continuously improve processes.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC machinery.
- Experience reading and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Experience performing basic CNC machine adjustments and routine maintenance.
- Proficiency in applied mathematics for measurements, tolerances, and machining calculations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience operating CNC machinery
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and inspection standards.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
