What You'll Do

Accountable for all aspects of scheduling procedures. Responsible for retrieval of minimal demographic information and communication of instructions to patient and/or physician office of scheduled procedures.

Responsibilities
• Assists in reviewing patient schedules daily for scheduling accuracy
• Assists with answering calls both as back up to office as well as from patients, offices, and others regarding appointments
• Schedules patient appointments per telephone referrals
• Prepares daily patient schedule for check-in receptionists per protocol
• Maintains all schedules as outlined per individual protocol for both physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring the patient's time at the facility is spent as efficiently as possible
• Ensures that patient appointment reminder calls are made and assists when necessary
• Assists with making sure provider schedules are full and appointments are accurately scheduled each day as outlined per their individual protocol
• Schedules and reschedules appointments in a timely manner
