Key Responsibilities:

Category Expertise:

• Act as a subject matter expert for the seasonal apparel category, providing thought leadership and guidance to the Sam’s Club Team.
• Work closely with Sam’s merchant team to develop strategies for growing total category sales.
• Work closely with Free Country team to build Sam’s Club item reporting, analytics and digital content.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize Sam’s Madrid system data to analyze category data points and offer actionable insights, assisting both Sam’s Club and Free Country in making informed decisions.
• Generate weekly and ad hoc reports to track item performance, identify opportunities and deliver solutions that drive profitable category growth.

Presentation and Communication:

• Use analytics, store visits and merchandising observations to develop presentations including actionable key insights and opportunities.
• Cover various topics such as category overviews, financial reviews, competitive landscape and consumer/shopper perspectives.

Market Trend Monitoring:

• Form a perspective on multi-channel purchasing behaviors, monitoring trends across both digital and in club purchases.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years of experience working in apparel in planning, buying or category management.
• Strong knowledge of Madrid data analytics system.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to build strong, sustainable working relationships with Sam’s Club and cross-functional teams within the organization.
• Strategic thinking with a self-starter mentality, capable of self-managing multiple projects simultaneously with aggressive deadlines.

Must be located near Bentonville. This is full time position located approximately 2 days per week in Sam’s Club office and 3 days remote with some flexibility needed during peak times.
