The Talent Innovation and Strategy (TIS) Talent Strategy & Program Management team

Work you’ll do
As a Talent Innovation & Solutions Data Strategy Manager, you will work directly with business stakeholders to translate their Talent data needs into requirements that technical and reporting teams can use. You will partner with various teams across Deloitte Talent and Enabling Areas to ensure a unified approach to design, development and implementation of data architecture, reporting, advanced analytics, and data governance. Key responsibilities include:
- Consulting with the Talent Data Strategy team to create and implement data strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Building relationships across the Talent Channel, business leaders, and Enabling Areas stakeholders to gather input, make and socialize recommendations, prioritize activities, and meet business needs.
- Assisting in AI Technology Solution selection and deployment to improve data processes.
- Gathering requirements to help the Data Analysis & Management team analyze complex data sets to find patterns and trends, as well as identifying strategies for data consolidation, maintenance, and tagging.
- Partnering with the Data Visualization & Reporting team to evaluate reporting needs and design dashboards and tools to make data accessible and present insights effectively.
- Working with the Data Security and Governance team to manage data ownership and access protocols, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
- Assisting in creating training programs to improve data literacy.
- Formulating key performance indicators to measure and track success.
- Developing and overseeing the project plan, resources, timeline, and budget, managing risks, to ensure timely resolution and escalation as needed.
- Creating insightful, compelling, logically structured presentations to communicate insights, strategies, and recommendations effectively.
- Managing the team, supporting and coaching junior team members, fostering a positive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years in a Business Strategy, Talent Business Advisor, or Business Intelligence role OR in-depth knowledge and experience with change/transformation initiatives involving data science
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience working with large data sets, developing data strategy, building networks, engaging with stakeholders, and working collaboratively across teams to drive data strategy execution.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 0-5%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred Qualifications:
- Consultative mindset, with a client service focus.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, and creative mind to identify innovative workforce solutions.
- Comfort with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to grasp, articulate, and apply AI tools and analysis to drive outcomes with human intervention.
- Experience in developing governance strategies for data use, business rule adherence, and process adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic, complex, and ambiguous environments, including start-ups and matrixed organizations.
- Calm under pressure; able to pivot with unexpected challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, establish and facilitate cross-business and cross-functional working groups.
- Strong written communication and PowerPoint skills, including developing storyboards and creating compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Strong oral communication and presentation skills; able to influence outcomes across all leadership levels.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, particularly in managing multiple project workstreams simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the professional services industry.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500-$188,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
