Construction Administrator
Position Purpose
The Construction Administrator is responsible for the overall management of construction projects to ensure adherence to specifications and contract documents. Maintain communication with the client regarding the progress and quality of work being performed by the Company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Maintain liaison between contractors, project managers, and consultants.
- Responsible to the client and Cromwell firm in meeting contractual obligations.
- Responsible for construction terms and agreements with clients and contractors.
- Monitors resources in a way that is compatible with company goals and objectives
- Works with team members on multiple projects for major clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Some travel is required.
Competencies
- Experience in Cost estimating and construction processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication with leadership team, contractor, and design team in a professional manner
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications, for complex projects, to monitor contractors’ compliance with design intent, construction schedule and applications for payment.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications / Prior Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in engineering or a construction related field.
- Registered Engineering Intern (EI) or Professional Engineer (PE) License a plus
- Must have a current valid Driver’s License.
Work Environment

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Prolonged period of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.
- Exposure to outside elements when on location site
