Interior Designer II
Position Purpose
The Interior Designer will lead interior space designs on integrated project teams by creating comprehensive design concepts, presentations, design development, and construction documents for the interior environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Performs design functions/computations, compiles data, and advanced interior design assignments, and reviews completed plans and estimates.
- Tracks and submits progress reports for assigned projects.
- Responsible for writing and/or reviewing reports and preliminary specifications.
- Renders design ideas in the form of presentation boards, schematic, drawings, or illustrations, estimates material requirements and costs, and presents design to client for approval.
- Understands all jurisdictional requirements, codes and regulations, and ability to coordinate with officials and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Coordinate with project team and clients, delegating work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Travel: 10%
Competencies
- Proficiency in Revit
- Efficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in managing and leading project teams, including multi-disciplined design teams.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members and clients.
- Time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications / Prior Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited program.
- NCIDQ Certified
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial interior design and production of construction documentation.
- Portfolio of a range of commercial projects requested
The job is potentially subject to U.S. export control restrictions under ITAR and that employment in the job is subject to verifying the applicant's status as a U.S. person.

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Prolonged period of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.
- Exposure to outside elements when on location site.
