Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse or Medical Assistant to hire as the Clinical Team Lead for the clinical team at our Primary & Specialty Clinic in Rogers, AR. The Clinical Team Lead is the Practice Manager’s right hand and will lead the day-to-day activities of the patient care support team consisting of Nurses and Medical Assistants. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, outpatient clinical experience, and a passion for providing access to health care to everyone in our community! This position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Bilingual speaking ability of Spanish & English is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient flow and high quality staff performance.
- Assumes responsibility of the clinic in the Practice Manager’s absence, in conjunction with the DON.
- Leads the team on a daily basis, by providing a model of positive, compassionate care for our patients and support to our staff.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service while interacting with providers, patients and coworkers.
- Ensures adequate staff coverage for absences and helps develop work assignments. Include proactive development of staffing plan as well as the ability to flex coverage daily depended on practice need.
- Provides direct clinical support to the providers as needed.
- Trains, mentors and completes staff competency evaluations for both new and existing clinical staff.
- Assists in the supervision of clinical staff and gives input for performance reviews and corrective action plans as needed.
- Assists in coordination of inventory and ordering medical supplies, as required.
- Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.

- Intermediate or better using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to perform proficiently on current practice management system and/or electronic medical records.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to the practice’s high quality, compassionate care of patients.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Current active Nursing license or Medical Assistant certification required.
- 5+ experience in patient care in an outpatient setting required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Multilingual ability (especially Spanish or Marshallese) preferred
