Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for the Springdale Family Practice location in Springdale, AR. Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. The schedule for this role is Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM with Occasional evening and Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic.
  • Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
  • Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts and collections are balanced daily.
  • Schedules patient appointments
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
  • Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
  • Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be capable using Microsoft office.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English or Marshallese/English is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
  • Experience in reception, health care, and/or customer service required
