Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for the Community Clinic in Springdale, AR. The ideal candidate will be an APRN-Women’s Health (APRN-WH) and/or a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). They will provide comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care, in alignment with Community Clinic’s mission to advance equitable, community-based healthcare. The provider will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that supports the diverse needs of the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Practices within the scope of competency as an APRN or CNM.
- Conducts thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients.
- Diagnoses and treats a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic diseases and acute illnesses.
- Uses established evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Uses all Clinic resources to improve patient outcomes, including behavioral health consultants, Diabetic Educators, audiologists, etc.
- Keeps abreast of current trends in health care including attending regular and required continuing education programs.
- Maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to advance maternal and child health outcomes.
- Ensures clinical notes are entered in the patient’s electronic medical record in an accurate and timely manner, according to industry standards and Community Clinic policy.
- Adheres to and commits to the mission of Community Clinic. Reinforces the mission with staff and promotes the mission to the community.

- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines in midwifery care.

- Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning and decision-making in routine and emergent situations.
- Works effectively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to reducing disparities in maternal and reproductive health outcomes.
- Ability to adjust to workflow changes and patient volume fluctuations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery from an accredited program required
- Current certification as a Women’s Health APRN and/or CNM required
- Current BLS and NRP certification required
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority in AR (or ability to obtain) with prescriptive privileges required
- Experience in an FQHC or other ambulatory care setting preferred
- Spanish and/or Marshallese language ability preferred
