Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a bilingual front desk Patient Coordinator for a busy dental clinic in Springdale. Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time, in-person, paid hourly, and eligible for full benefits. The schedule for this position will be Monday–Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm Friday 8:00a-1:00p
Key Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic.
- Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
- Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts and collections are balanced daily.
- Schedules patient appointments
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
- Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office is preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
- Customer service experience required
Skills
- Communication: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, family members, and coworkers
- Informal Language Interpretation: Can interpret between spoken English and either Spanish or Marshallese, as needed.
- Computer Literacy: Comfortable using a computer, capable typist, and able to learn to use new software
- Organizational Ability: Can adhere to organizational systems and process consistently, able to organize your work as need to balance priorities
