Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Women’s Health clinic in Springdale, AR. CMA or RMA certification plus 1 year of experience is required. This is a full-time M-F position with no weekends. Spanish language ability required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
• Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
• Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
• Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
• Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
• Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant certification is required.
• Experience in a clinic, hospital, or skilled nursing facility is required
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
