Summary

Responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and fun atmosphere for the children attending the Kids Center at the Bentonville Community Center. Kids Center staff develop relationships with parents and children and communicate with them on daily behaviors and activities.

Primary responsibilities

• Creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere for children in the Kids Center.
• Observing and monitoring children's play activities.
• Creating and implementing versatile activities for kids to participate in.
• Reading, singing, and playing with children.
• Organizing materials to ensure a clean and safe facility.
• Performing housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing of towels.
• Sanitizing toys and play equipment.
• Disciplining children and recommending or initiating other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing and picking up toys and books.
• Following the policies and procedures for the Kids Center to ensure the safety

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Highschool Diploma or GED; No work experience required.
