Bella Vista is located in the NW corner of the state of Arkansas. Our city boasts nearly 100 miles of bicycle/walking trails that wind through beautiful hills and trees and around seven (7) lakes within the city limits. Under the Guidance and direction for the I.T. Director, this position performs as the beginning level PC, server, networking, and telecom technician This involves all computing device support, networking, telecom, and server support functions with generally directed actions.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Assists in all aspects of operation of the IT Department.
• Performs PC/device operational duties including file maintenance, configuration, procedure writing and daily system operations.
• Performs all operational aspects concerning the installation and usage of person computers and other devise by employees.
• Performs customer service tasks including traditional help desk functions.
• Provides asset database maintenance and life-cycle planning.
• Installs and sets up software.
• Researches system problems and errors for corrections.
• Performs basic networking and Active Directory processes.
• Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

• Degree from college or technical college with Associate’s Degree or a 2 year Technical Certification in Information Systems, Computer programming, or related field.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• Preference will be given to individuals with Technical or Security certifications such as A+, CCNA, etc.
• General knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• General knowledge of the operation and care of the various types of technical equipment with emphasis on repair, software implementation, and help desk skills.
• General knowledge of personal computers with local and wide area networking.
• General knowledge of and proficiency in using various software packages including spreadsheet, database and word processing applications.
• Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships.
• Ability to train others performing basic computing activities.
