Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm Central Time with the ability to work additional hours as project needs demand.

Incumbent should reside within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK)

Job Summary

The UX Senior Architect at Arvest provides strategic leadership in user-centric design, connecting users with the vision for high-priority initiatives. They proactively identify opportunities for optimization, influencing stakeholders through compelling narratives and research-backed design strategies. A key member of cross-functional teams, they align others on design outcomes, ensuring that we leverage experience to achieve key enterprise goals. Above all, they ensure digital experiences are efficient, effective, and deeply resonant with user needs. Responsibilities

● Create a plan and conduct user research and analyze data to gain insights into user behavior/preferences and validate concepts.

● Translate user insights into meaningful narratives and design solutions that are intuitive and effective for users and support the overall business strategy, often optimizing existing experiences.

● Create site maps, use cases, wireframes, and user flows to communicate a site’s navigation and structure as well as intended experience and functionality.

● Effectively articulate, explain, influence, and align others on design decisions, research findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

● Work closely with product owners to gather business and feature requirements while also partnering to add value-added experience requirements to the backlog.

● Build relationships and collaborate with teammates, stakeholders, product, and development teams to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and technical constraints, that best practices and industry standards are followed, and that there is consistency across all channels.

● Continuously improve the user experience of digital products and services through testing, data analysis, user feedback, and industry research - often proactively bringing opportunities to team leadership.

● Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to job duties. This includes, but is not limited to, completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures and controls, reporting any known violations of compliance policies, laws, or regulations, and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

● Other duties and special projects may be assigned.


Responsibilities:

Experience

● Required: 6 years of experience in UX design

● Required: Experience leading UX research and competitive analysis using tools such as Usertesting.com

● Required: Strong knowledge of using design tools (Figma or similar) and analysis tools (Hotjar or similar)

● Required: Familiarity with experience optimization strategies

● Required: Proficiency in using Microsoft office, Google Workspace, or similar tools

● Required: Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools

● Preferred: Experience with the following: Jira, Miro, Adobe Target, Optimizely or similar

● Preferred: Familiarity with HTML and front-end development practices

● Preferred: Experience or certification in designing for accessibility (508 compliance, WCAG)

● Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Education

● Required: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, related field or equivalent work or military experience

Working Conditions

● Must be able to operate standard office equipment and use office applications for communication, information and document transmission, and content, document, and report creation.

● The essential duties of this job occasionally require the associate to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

● Must be able to operate a passenger vehicle and possess a current, valid driver's license.

● Ability to travel overnight, unaccompanied, within the United States via automobile and air is required, on occasion.

● The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.

Pay Range: $107320 - $134150 per year
