Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.
Starting salary is $110,000 with ability to negotiate based on the successful candidate's job-related knowledge, skills and prior experience.
RED Project and Construction Coordinator 2
Job Summary
The RED (Real Estate Division) Project and Construction Coordinator 2 at Arvest is responsible for coordination and oversight of major construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, often handling more complex or critical projects. Key responsibilities include construction administration, advanced scheduling, comprehensive budget tracking, strategic internal and external resource allocation, and proactive risk management. The RED Project and Construction Coordinator 2 serves as a primary point of contact and communication for internal and external contacts during all phases of construction projects, often leading communication for large-scale construction and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
● Manage the architectural construction check sets through the review process and distributes comments back to the manager as required for compliance to standards.
● Evaluate, select, and apply advanced architectural techniques, procedures, and modifications to architectural construction documents from pre-construction through substantial completion.
● Track and/or respond to complex design and construction project inquiries that may significantly affect timelines, owner-furnished items, or compliance to standards.
● Review and evaluate construction drawings for egress, general code compliance, and reasonable design and construction detailing, including the review and coordination of construction check sets from external consultants.
● Lead jobsite meetings onsite or via conference call, providing expert input and direction for the local bank and consultants as a senior representative of the Architectural Management Office (AMO), and determining optimal options for consideration and review. Disseminate critical construction project information as needed.
● Attend owner/architect meetings as a part of general construction project planning and/or development as assigned.
● Manage complex construction project coordination, develop comprehensive project budgets and schedules, and critically review field reports, proposal requests, supplemental instructions, and key submittals.
● Serve as a point of contact and communication for consultants, contractors, local banks, internal departments and AMO during the phases of construction projects.
● Coordinate with the AMO team on the development and maintenance of prototype management projects, Arvest graphic standards, master specifications and guidelines, manual updates, and revisions.
● Create advanced CAD (Computer Aided Design) templates and tools for AMO use, potentially mentoring others in their application.
● Produce intricate schematic plans, detailed interior design packets, complex site schematics, and/or comprehensive construction bid packets on assigned construction projects.
● Attend owner/architect meetings as a key participant in general construction project planning and/or development as assigned.
● Perform on-site inspections of construction in progress, provide photo documentation and ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications. Produce construction progress reports.
● Provide mentorship and training to AMO associates on construction best practices and new construction methods and materials.
● Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to job duties. This includes, but is not limited to, completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures and controls, reporting any known violations of compliance policies, laws, or regulations, and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
● Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Responsibilities:
Experience
● Required: 8 years of progressive experience in construction project coordination, demonstrating leadership in managing multiple large complex projects simultaneously.
● Preferred: Extensive experience with mechanical systems, telecommunications, security systems, bank equipment and/or purchasing, particularly in a lead or oversight capacity.
● Advanced AutoCAD and/or Revit experience, potentially including custom template creation or training others.
● Exceptional organizational skills, ability to strategically manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, and superior communication skills to effectively liaise with various Arvest stakeholders, senior vendors, contractors, and team members.
● Profound understanding of construction processes and best practices, and the ability to proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues as they arise, often independently.
● A highly proactive, hands-on, and leadership-oriented approach is critical to the successful delivery of construction projects.
● Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and strong communication skills to liaise with various Arvest stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and team members.
● Relevant work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement.
● Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
Credentials
● Preferred: License in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering
● Preferred: Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential, offered by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)

● Regular and frequent navigation of construction sites and all facility areas is required, including but not limited to below-grade spaces, rooftops, penthouses, unfinished areas, and crawl spaces. Access to these areas may necessitate the use of a ladder or lift.
● The essential duties of this job occasionally require the associate to lift and/or move up to 51 pounds.
● Must be able to operate a passenger vehicle and possess a current, valid driver's license.
● Ability to travel overnight, unaccompanied, within the United States via automobile and air is required, no less than 25% of the time.
● The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
