Position is located at 202 S Goad Springs Road in Lowell, Arkansas.

Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with additional hours as needed.

Summary:

SUMMARY: The Mortgage Post Closer is responsible to fully audit closing packets received from the title company. A full audit will include but is not limited to; TRID and Compliance reviews per established guidelines. The Post Closer will ensure closing packets are received within 48-hours of closing and follow-up, daily if needed, with the corresponding title company. The Post Closer will work to ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines are met in an accurate and timely manner. In addition, the Post Closer will process loans with Escrow for Completion ensuring all needed information, documentation, releases, funds, etc. are complete and accurate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Upon receipt of the closing packet, log packet in and begin file audits to ensure all necessary documents are included and complete. Notify the corresponding title company of any document discrepancies.

2. Scan file and export into the support system; review scanned documents to ensure all documents scanned legibly and saved properly. Send loan documents to record storage with Vital Records Control.

3. Complete TRID Cure reviews by identifying potential cures and audit closed loans as assigned; review for credit report fees and COC’s.

4. Run a compliance review on closing packets received; following up with the title company on any missing and/or trailing documents needed.

5. Apply post-consummation principal reductions or refunds to the appropriate loan; review for accuracy of matching loan number, property address, etc. to ensure funds are allocated properly.

6. Utilizing the mortgage system, track and monitor loans that have Escrow for Completion (EFC) ensuring the process is complete and required documentation is obtained before closing out the EFC.

7. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    · High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

    · 1 year of mortgage/banking or title company experience required.

    · 1 year of customer service experience required.

    · Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
