Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the assigned manager, the Post Closing Specialist will review closed files and ensure that all documents and instruments have been properly signed and acknowledged. The incumbent will also affix revenue stamps to deeds for filing, prepare instruments to be recorded. Upon receipt of the returned recorded documents the incumbent will file them in the closing file and prepare the file for the Title Policy Agent. The Post Closing Specialist will work directly with internal customers and handle each request in a courteous and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Follow each lender’s closing instructions and copy the necessary documentation. Ship to the appropriate parties.
2. Order and print E-Revenue stamps and affix to deeds for filing, if required. Prepare instruments to be recorded. Follow jurisdictional tax laws related to real estate transactions, including use of jurisdictionally specific software and government reporting systems.
3. Send payments for bills payable on each transaction to the appropriate parties.
4. Purge the physical file and scan all remaining items. Dispose of the original file after the quality assurance process has been completed.
5. Prepare closing file and provide it to Title Policy Agent(s) for the preparation of final title policies.
6. Review, verify, organize and audit closing file after closing to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of documents and instruments with company and regulatory guidelines. .
7. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
· 6 months customer service experience required.
· Previous title or real estate related experience preferred.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
