Position is Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.
Position is based at 921 W Monroe Ave, Lowell, AR, however, incumbent should be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).
SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the IAS Manager, the Commercial Appraisal Coordinator is tasked with processing requests for complex commercial third-party appraisals. The incumbent is also responsible for a variety of administrative duties supporting the department. The incumbent is accountable for developing solid working relationships with external appraisers and lending staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process incoming requests for complex commercial third-party appraisals. Review property and loan information, define the scope of work, solicit bids, engage a qualified appraiser; mediate any issues that arise during the course of an assignment and provide timely communication to the lending staff.
- Review information in a request for internal appraisal projects (In-house Evaluations (IHE), Comp and Tech Reviews, and Validations) and assign to the appropriate Appraisal Specialist or Reviewer.
- Communicate with bank lending staff and appraisers on a daily basis. Serve as a contact person for questions related to appraisals. Maintain a positive working relationship with lending staff and appraisers.
- As requested, provide research and assistance to Senior Review Appraisal staff.
- Properly close out appraisal files and process invoices for third party appraisals and other vendor invoices.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 years of experience in real estate, lending, underwriting and/or appraisal support required.
- Associates degree preferred.
