Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.
Incumbent must be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).

Job Title: Mortgage Compliance Senior Manager
The Mortgage Compliance Senior Manager is responsible for the direction, within respective areas of testing or consultation of mortgage compliance for Arvest Mortgage Division (AMD). The incumbent provides leadership and administration of the assigned departments and ensures appropriate and efficient internal controls are in place while monitoring expenses and budgeting. The Mortgage Compliance Senior Manager oversees and formulates objectives, goals, strategies and plans to ensure the most effective and efficient work flow, while ensuring that service level expectations are met and compliant with federal and state regulatory agencies, investor and CFPB guidelines.

What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
• Direct and oversee the strategic aspects of AMD mortgage compliance functions assigned: providing direction, leadership, motivation, coaching and assessment to ensure optimum team and individual performance in support of company and department goals.
• Provide guidance and support to all assigned departments, ensuring the execution and implementation of policies and procedures, efficient workflow, maintaining accurate and quality mortgage compliance guidance, and associate training programs are being completed.
• Direct and oversee the identification of issues that will improve AMD efficiency, reduce loss and minimize risk. Provide feedback to the appropriate departments and coordinate efforts to implement changes.
• Provide guidance and/or problem resolution to internal/external customers while ensuring service level expectations are achieved.
• Actively promote a solution-oriented environment and serve as a resource for high risk situations. Make determinations of appropriate course of action, as needed, by assessing risk exposure to AMD and work with the business units and/or legal counsel to make appropriate decisions.
• Direct and oversee the assigned department policies and programs to ensure sustainable operations process improvements result in cost savings and improved customer delivery. Consistently maintain proper records, sound and practical internal controls and service expectations.
• Remain current on mortgage compliance, regulations and applicable laws that affect the day-to-day mortgage origination and servicing operations. Advise management on operational/industry changes within assigned functional areas.
• In conjunction with other areas throughout the company, work with regulatory examiners, auditors (internal and external), and rating agencies regarding mortgage functions.
• Ensure compliance with fair and responsible lending, UDAAP, and marketing law and regulation, while coordinating with Group Compliance, who has primary responsibility in these areas.
• Attend and actively participate in management meetings, communication meetings and various peer meetings both within the bank group and within the industry.
• Oversee the maintenance of the Mortgage Compliance and Quality Control Plans to ensure they comply with standards set forth by applicable regulators, investors, and other interested third parties.
• Collaborate with senior management on preparing and managing budgets for assigned functional areas.
• Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related or relevant military experience required.
• 8 years of mortgage experience required.
• 5 years of supervisory experience required.
• 3 years of experience working with regulatory agencies, including the CFPB, the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, State Agencies or GSEs required.
• Working knowledge of mortgage banking regulations, real estate procedures, and the secondary market investor guidelines required.
• CRCM certification or the ability to acquire within 1 year required.
• Knowledge of Arvest bank group’s policies and procedures preferred.
• Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
