Location: Fayetteville and Rogers, AR

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary is commensurate with experience. Pay Range $60,000 - $70,000
  • Annual salary review will be performed.
  • Annual Employee Performance Appraisals
  • Twelve days paid vacation annually (accrues bi-weekly) at time of hire. An additional 24 hours of personal days and 8 paid holidays are available annually as well as paid sick time.
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Additional life and other insurance policies offered through American Fidelity
  • 403B retirement plan with employer match up to 6% of annual salary upon one year of employment.
  • Approved relocation expenses reimbursed.

What You’ll Do

  • Elevate Engagement: Craft and implement strategies that make our workplace the best it can be. From organizing vibrant internal events to enhancing our recognition programs, your role is all about boosting morale and fostering a sense of community.
  • Drive Development: Collaborate with our HR Director to identify training needs, oversee impactful learning initiatives, and manage budgets. You’ll ensure our team has the tools and opportunities they need to grow and thrive.
  • Champion Inclusion: Lead our Inclusion Committee initiatives, mentor employee resource groups, and build community partnerships. Your efforts will help us create a workplace where diversity is celebrated.
  • Be Present: Engage with our team and guests by participating in Walmart AMP events and supporting employee relations. Your presence and proactive approach will help maintain a positive and productive workplace.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent work experience which demonstrates a proven track record of expertise and achievement in the relevant field. DEI/HR professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in roles focused on employee engagement, development, and DEI.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, strong understanding of DEI best practices, and the ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, endure various work environments, and stand or walk for extended periods.
