Community Creative Center, located in the heart of Fayetteville’s arts district, is a non-profit visual and studio arts organization providing classes, workshops and camps in a variety of hands-on art forms including clay and pottery, painting, drawing, printmaking, glass fusion and mixed media for children and adults of all ages and skill levels. We provide the Northwest Arkansas community accessible, affordable arts experiences, along with spring break and summer art camps, teacher/artist professional development and in-school residencies. We enhance the arts opportunities in our region through a variety of partnerships with schools and districts, non-profit organizations and agencies, artist collectives and other arts organizations.

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE

The Community Creative Center’s Artist in Residence program is awarded to one post-bacc or post- grad, 21 years or older, per year. Candidates should be highly motivated and committed to pursuing excellence in their craft.

This residency is ideal for those who are seeking dedicated studio time to further their artistic practice and transition into the next stage of professional development.

The CCC will provide a $1000.00 per month stipend, semi-private 280 sq. ft. studio, glaze materials, electric kiln firings and use of its studio equipment and facilities in exchange for 15 hours of work per week and participation in CCC events and activities. Residents will be offered paid teaching opportunities as well as public lectures and demonstrations.
