General Manager at Inspiration Point
Arts and Culture Job Board
Inspiration Point is located in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas just a few miles west of Eureka Springs. For 75 years it has been the home of Opera in the Ozarks (OIO), a nationally-known summer opera intensive for young voices about to enter an operatic career. Until this year, performances had been in an outdoor, under-cover theater without temperature control and adjacent to a busy highway. A generous gift from the Walton Family Foundation provided a state-of-the-art theater, used for the first time for the 2025 season. In order to maximize the potential of the theater and rebuild the rest of the campus up to its standard, Inspiration Point Center for the Arts (IPCA) was created. The person selected for this position will be the General Manager of IPCA [non-profit, 501(c)(3)] who will have the opportunity to oversee staff who produce performing arts events, as well as operate a uniquely attractive event venue.
This role requires a dedicated and hands-on leader committed to driving financial health, operational efficiency, fundraising success, and meaningful programming. Reporting to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and working in close collaboration with Opera in the Ozarks and other key partners, the General Manager ensures the infrastructure and resources necessary to support the organization’s artistic, educational, and community goals.
