The Multimedia Content Designer is a hands-on storyteller who can conceptualize, produce, and deliver polished multimedia assets that align with Art Bridges’ mission and brand standards, while working closely with teams across the foundation and external partners to translate complex initiatives into compelling visual narratives. Strong creative execution, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple production deliverables within established brand guidelines, timelines, and workflows are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality multimedia assets including videos, graphics, animations, photography, and digital design for use across digital, social, and marketing platforms.
- Edit and produce short- and long-form video content with a strong narrative focus, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and visual consistency.
- Create branded motion graphics, lower thirds, intro/outro packages, and on-screen text overlays aligned with Art Bridges’ visual identity.
- Capture and edit photography and videography for digital and print use, including events, programs, and partner engagements.
- Design and prepare creative assets for marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and communications team to create visually engaging content optimized for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Substack.
- Contribute creative ideas and awareness of current trends related to social video, campaign storytelling, and visual tone.
- Ensure all creative output aligns with Art Bridges’ brand style guide, visual standards, and quality expectations.
- Apply basic performance analytics and engagement data to inform content refinements and creative improvements.
- Partner with departments across the foundation to translate complex initiatives into engaging visual stories.
- Support the Senior Creative Manager in working with national museum partners and third-party creative agencies to develop and deliver multimedia assets.
- Participate in content planning, production, and creative review meetings to align messaging, priorities, and timelines.
- Organize, archive, and maintain creative files and source assets using Art Bridges’ Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Manage physical and digital storage systems to ensure creative assets are well-documented and easily accessible.
- Uphold brand consistency and quality control across all assigned creative deliverables.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested to meet departmental and organizational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Graphic Design, Film, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in video production, design, and multimedia storytelling.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative range across video, graphic design, and photography.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and skilled in After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and/or InDesign.
- Experience using Canva or similar design tools to support quick-turn creative needs.
- Demonstrated skills in videography and photography, including lighting, composition, and audio capture.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven ability to deliver production-ready digital assets across multiple formats and platforms.
- Understanding of social media content strategy and digital storytelling best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate, while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues across departments and with external partners as needed.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of professional integrity, including the ability to handle sensitive, pre-publication, or confidential information with discretion.
- Adaptable and flexible, with a creative problem-solving mindset and the ability to anticipate needs, navigate evolving priorities, incorporate feedback, and respond to changing content needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally and nationally for photo/video shoots and partner events as needed.

Physical Demands: In the work environment described, position requires utilizing a computer and a telephone for prolonged periods of time and good eye/hand coordination, bending and stretching, and the physical stamina to lift and transport a minimum of 10 pounds. Work Environment: Work is performed full-time (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) in a professional, climate-controlled office environment with standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and telephones. This role requires working in an open setting near colleagues. The noise level is typically low to moderate. The role also requires regular interaction with both the public and internal team members in a professional and courteous manner. Some travel may be required, including overnight trips on occasion. A flexible schedule may be necessary to accommodate business needs, including occasional evening and weekend work hours.
