Additional Information:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

Description
1. Serves as primary coordinator for AC health education program(s) or region of assigned responsibility.
2. Provides appropriate and relevant health education on a variety of topics to interested groups and individuals.
3. Oversees selections and/or development of appropriate health education materials for distribution to children and families.
4. Works closely with other Community Engagement staff in the scheduling of various programs, events and activities.
5. Strives to raise awareness of children's health issues to the general public, particularly in the areas of Wellness, Prevention and Health Promotion.
6. Works in collaboration with members of other organizations who offer similar health education programming so as to maximize resources.
7. Helps establish, nurture and maintain targeted partnerships in the local community.
8. Assists with recruitment, training and supervision of employee volunteers for outreach programs and events.
9. Serves as AC representative and assists with coordination and design of AC presence at various community events throughout the state. Selects and gathers appropriate health education materials for distribution.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
