Description

1. Consistently provides and promotes safe and effective advanced patient care that addresses the age-specific variations related to clinical, educational, psychosocial and cultural needs.

2. Completes and assists with appropriate educational activities to maintain and increase competency, including all required hospital and departmental in-services, education, and training as assigned.

3. Facilitates and improves collaboration with other team members and departments in providing patient care across the continuum.

4. Maintains, creates, and promotes a clean and safe environment conducive to meeting customer needs and regulatory standards.

5. Provides feedback, reports, and initiates changes to improve patient care and/or the work environment. Promotes activities to improve quality of care.

6. Identifies and utlilizes available standards, literature and research findings to guide evidence-based practice and provide leadership in patient care.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.
