Sales Director
The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive customer acquisition and retention. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for building and scaling high-performing sales teams. You are a proven salesperson who has led and coached a team. You are strategic, collaborative, quick, and clear in your work processes and approach. You quickly build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders, and you challenge and inspire your team and customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:
Create and manage sales plans, including forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to hit revenue targets.

Team Leadership:
Train and coach a growing sales team into high-performing account executives.
Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture focused on achievement and professional growth.
Be willing to engage with customers on sales calls in order to close big deals and coach account executives along the way.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Operations:
Implement effective sales processes and tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and optimize the customer journey.

Market Intelligence
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Use market insights to inform sales strategies and product development.
Key Competencies:
Experience:
7-10 years of progressive experience in SaaS sales, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role.
Experience working in both SMB and Enterprise sales.
Skills:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
*Note: this is an onsite position in Fayetteville, AR. Candidates considering this position must be willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in agriculture, real estate, or land brokerage
Experience working in a technology startup environment
