Some Essential Functions of this Position:

  • Partner with Acosta clients and customers to maximize profitability.

  • Manage, influence, and expand customer and client relationships.

  • Develop strategies to address defined opportunities, scope and manage solutions that have a significant impact on our customer’s success.

  • Coordinate customer needs with Director of Fresh Foods and coordinate initiatives with the team to ensure objectives are met.

  • Develop and communicate category plans to address client priorities, opportunities and expectations.

  • Create goals that support strategic visions of the organization.

  • Evaluate the Fresh Operations team performancebased on established goals to ensure client and customer needs are met.

  • Establish budgetary guidelines for the team and ensure targets are met.

  • Review and approve program manuals andmerchandising tools prior to deployment.

  • Continually identify and communicate improvement opportunities.

  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of our customer’s and clients' strategies, selling programs, and initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 5+ years of experience in Retail. Fresh operations experience strongly preferred.

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.

  • Ability to engage and influence teams.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have consistent follow-through andbe organized.

  • Must have strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

  • Must be willing to non-traditional hours, including weekends.

  • This position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing, and as such, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 months will be an immediate disqualifier for this position.

  • Certification in Food Safety preferred.
