Role summary:The Senior Manager, Business Strategy (Licensing & Credentials), leads the development and execution of key business plans and initiatives to drive operational performance and growth. This role involves identifying customer and operational needs, removing barriers, and aligning cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. The position requires managing change initiatives, overseeing process improvements, and providing leadership through coaching and development of associates. The role ensures compliance with company policies and promotes a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement to deliver measurable business results and support Walmart’s mission. Leads strategic licensing and credentialing initiatives to align with business growth.
About the team:
The Upstream Facility Services Safety team is committed to safeguarding over 7,000 field technicians by developing and executing comprehensive safety programs that prevent incidents and enhance service quality. This team leads safety training, audits, and accident prevention efforts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with stakeholders, they continuously improve processes and promote a secure work environment. With expertise in licensing, credentialing, and strategy execution across multiple states and trade disciplines, the team supports operational excellence and the well-being of the workforce through effective leadership and adherence to safety requirements.
What you'll do:
- Drive execution of multiple business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to enhance performance.
- Develop and communicate strategic business plans, adjusting approaches based on performance metrics and operational feedback.
- Lead and mentor associates through training, coaching, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- Manage change initiatives by defining objectives, assessing readiness, and ensuring timely implementation across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve business issues and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations to senior management by analyzing data, assessing risks, and aligning strategies with company goals.
- Oversee development and communication of key business strategies, programs, and associate training content.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
